Hi, my name is Babette, owner of Lagniappe Acres.. Lagniappe is a French word that means a little something extra! It is when you order a dozen of donuts and get 13 or 14! Those extras are called Lagniappe. EVERYONE needs Lagniappe in their lives. We strive to work Lagniappe into each and every puppy!

We began our journey with our first pom - Pippin! She was the light of our life, the best dog in every way. She was not only protective in the right way, but was smart as a whip, learned anything taught her, she was also incredibly nurturing and beautiful. She was our start in poms and we could not have asked for a better teacher!

I remember wanting a pom - finding a breeder and when I knew of a litter - I visited at 2 wks old - the earliest I was allowed - I picked her out and held her and was taken - I visited each week since her birth - until I could take her home.

She was our love of life in dogdom - and she will always be missed with tears. She lived a full life and filled ours with memories that will never be forgotten. We miss her so, but continue with the journey that everyone out there that would love a perfect companion would find it in a pomeranian!
